Community awareness and education

For a community to be inclusive, its members need to have understanding and knowledge. Our CET (Community Education Team) have been in existence for the past 30 years and presents to schools, Traffic Offender Programmes,  different faculties at Universities, other organisations, at forums, Football Clubs, Drive Alive Programmes.

To educate and give people an understanding of how to prevent brain injuries is a very powerful skill.  It’s a key part of our commitment to people living with a brain injury AND remaining heartily committed to prevention. Read our news article about one of our CET team’s visits to a local high school to hear some personal stories that are told at a typical presentation.
